Spamvertized domain names and IP addresses now provide a detailed whois report when clicked. This information makes it easier for semi-technical Internet users to track down resources allocated to spam organizations. As usual, naive users should be wary of using such information to issue abuse reports. Sending such a report to a spam organization may have negative results.

We've redesigned our site. Now there will always be a menu on the left hand side of the page. This will let us fix one or two quirky issues due to arriving at a spam sample directly from a search engine. Other planned updates will also be easier to effect.

Links to authoritative sources of anti-spam information have been added. This information is presented on pages showing spamvertising details -- so that users arriving via a search engine can be pointed to user oriented information.

Samples of email suspected to be spam are presented for user review. This allows users to judge for themselves if suspected spam is in fact likely to be unsolicted commercial email (UCE) or unsolicited bulk email (UBE). The odd mistake does still sneak through.

Data feeds acquired. Loading and processing automated. ARIN block breakdown implemented. FAQ and other descriptive pages written. Domain name BlockAlert registered. Web site made available for public access. If we build it, will they come?
